Overview

The BBO Halo Series Axiom clean lines over a tournament felt.

The Axiom is the minimalist member of the Halo Series. Where the Stratton anchors a room with mass, the Axiom does it with line — a solid wood X-Leg pedestal that reads as a single sculptural form under a flat, contemporary top. The crossed-leg base carries the table's weight on a wide stance, so the 91 3/4" surface stays steady without the bulk of a closed column.

It is finished in Black Walnut Wood or American Walnut and Onyx stains, chosen to suit a modern interior rather than a traditional card room.

The playability is pure BBO: a 78 3/4" x 30 7/8" felt seating 10 for poker or a conference, with the eyesores removed. No plastic inserts, no visible hardware, no loud branding — so a matching dining top drops over the surface and the table becomes a clean contemporary dining or meeting piece.

On its base it measures 91 3/4" long; with the dining top fitted it grows to 95 3/4". It is built for open, architectural spaces where the table is meant to be seen.

Construction

A wide stance on a crossed-leg base.

01Solid Wood X-Leg Pedestal

The Axiom stands on a solid wood X-Leg pedestal. The crossed legs spread the table's load across a wide footprint, which holds the 91 3/4" surface steady during play while keeping the open, airy profile that suits a minimalist room.

02Walnut Finish Options

Available in Black Walnut Wood or American Walnut and Onyx stains. The finishes are chosen so the Axiom belongs in a contemporary interior alongside considered furniture, not just in a dedicated game room.

03Tournament Playing Surface

The 78 3/4" x 30 7/8" felt is sized for a full 10-player game. A 1 3/4" surface depth gives cards a clean slide and keeps chip stacks settled through the night.

04Matching Dining Top

A matching dining top fits over the felt and takes the table to a 95 3/4" x 47 5/8" footprint, converting it into a flat contemporary dining or conference surface that still seats 10.

05Concealed Hardware

BBO removed the typical poker-table tells — no cheap plastic inserts, no visible fasteners, no aggressive logos. The clean detailing is what lets the Axiom hold its minimalist look even with the felt exposed for play.

Buyer's Guide

Choosing a base that fits the room.

The Axiom and its sibling the Stratton share a felt, a finish range, and a footprint; the deciding factor is the base. The Axiom's X-Leg pedestal reads lighter and more open, which suits minimalist and contemporary rooms, while a closed-column base reads heavier and more traditional. Choose the silhouette that matches the furniture already in the space.

Whichever you choose, a solid wood pedestal beats four independent legs for play. There is no corner leg to bump and far less flex under elbow pressure, which is why pedestal tables hold their position through an aggressive hand.

Treat the dual-purpose claim as conditional on the dining top. The Axiom is sold as a poker table by night and a dining or conference surface by day, but the matching top is what makes that real. Budget for it if the room has to serve two roles.

Then size the space. The base is 91 3/4" x 43 7/8", growing to 95 3/4" x 47 5/8" with the dining top, and it seats 10. Because the X-Leg stance is wide, confirm chair clearance at the corners specifically before settling on a location.

FAQ

Questions buyers ask

How does the Axiom differ from the Stratton?

They share the same felt, finishes, and footprint. The difference is the base: the Axiom uses a solid wood X-Leg pedestal with a wide, open stance suited to minimalist rooms, while the Stratton uses a heavier Y-Leg pedestal.

What finishes are available?

Black Walnut Wood, or American Walnut and Onyx stains — finishes selected to suit contemporary interiors.

Can it be used as a conference or dining table?

Yes. It seats 10 for poker or a conference, and a matching dining top converts it to a dining or meeting surface at a 95 3/4" x 47 5/8" footprint.

How big is the playing surface?

78 3/4" x 30 7/8", with a 1 3/4" surface depth — sized for a full 10-player game.

Is the X-Leg base stable during play?

Yes. The crossed legs distribute the load across a wide footprint, holding the surface steady, and a single pedestal removes the corner legs that players otherwise bump.

How much room does it need?

The base footprint is 91 3/4" x 43 7/8", growing to 95 3/4" x 47 5/8" with the dining top, seating 10. Allow chair clearance, paying attention to the wide corner stance.
