Overview
The Prohibition Hold'em table is the flagship gaming piece of the Prohibition Series — sophisticated cladded matte black or matte walnut wood base, embossed Prohibition logo on the faux-leather playing surface, and a vintage brass or matte black kick plate that defines the table's lower edge. Countersunk drink holders at each seat keep cocktails secure during play.
80 inches long × 40 inches wide × 30 inches tall. 225 lbs. Solid wood construction with faux leather playing surface. Metal kick plate base detail in brass or matte black. Available in two finishes: Matte Black stain with Brass kick plate, or Matte Walnut stain with Matte Black kick plate. Compatible with the optional Prohibition Texas Hold'em Dining Top (PRO84TXDIN). Ships LTL freight in 2 boxes.
Construction
The playing surface is faux leather embossed with the Prohibition logo — a substantial visual statement that elevates the table from generic poker table to a designed series piece. Faux leather is durable, easy to clean, and resistant to spilled drinks.
Drink holders sit countersunk into the playing surface — flush with the table rather than protruding. This keeps the playing surface clean and prevents drinks from being knocked over during play. Each seat gets a designated drink holder.
The base is cladded matte black or matte walnut wood with a metal kick plate at the bottom edge. The kick plate (vintage brass or matte black) protects the wood base from scuff damage while providing the visual signature that defines the Prohibition Series aesthetic.
Two Prohibition Series finish options. Matte Black stain with Brass kick plate is the committed speakeasy interpretation; Matte Walnut stain with Matte Black kick plate is the more restrained version. Both coordinate with the rest of the Prohibition Series.
80 inches of playing length seats 8 players for Texas Hold'em with adequate spacing between seats. Standard 8-player Hold'em table proportions — the size that home tournaments need to feel like a real card room rather than a kitchen table.
Compatible with the optional Prohibition Texas Hold'em Dining Top (PRO84TXDIN), sold separately. The dining top converts the table from poker mode to formal dining mode without buying separate tables.
Buyer's Guide
The Prohibition Texas Hold'em Table runs at a premium over the standard GTBL84 — same playing surface size, similar core construction, but with the Prohibition Series aesthetic (cladded base, metal kick plate, embossed logo, vintage finish detail).
The premium pays off in rooms where the table is the visible centerpiece. The Prohibition table reads as a deliberately designed piece in a coordinated speakeasy room; the GTBL84 reads as a more generic poker table. Both play the same way; only one looks like a designed series piece.
Pair the table with the matching Prohibition Series Dining Chairs (PRODCHR) — Vintage Green with brass frame for the Matte Black/Brass table, Vintage Gray with matte black frame for the Matte Walnut table. The coordinated chair-and-table cluster is what makes the speakeasy aesthetic read as designed rather than scattered.
Add the Prohibition Cocktail Bar (PROBAR84 or PROBAR60), Back Bar (PROBACBAR), and matching barstools (PROBSTL2ARMS) for a complete Prohibition Series game room — poker table, cocktail bar, back bar, and seating all in coordinated finish.

FAQ
How is this different from the standard 84" Hold'em Table (GTBL84)?
The Prohibition Series version carries the cladded matte black/matte walnut base, the metal kick plate (brass or matte black), and the embossed Prohibition logo on the playing surface. Same 80-inch playing length and 8-player capacity; different aesthetic and design language.
What's the embossed logo on the playing surface?
The Prohibition Series signature logo, embossed into the faux leather playing surface. The embossing is part of the playing surface construction, not applied — it doesn't wear off or peel.
Is the playing surface real leather?
Faux leather. Real leather doesn't tolerate the conditions of poker play (spilled drinks, sweat, cumulative wear from chip stacks). Faux leather is more durable in this environment while maintaining the look and feel of real leather.
Does it convert to a dining table?
Yes, with the optional Prohibition Texas Hold'em Dining Top (PRO84TXDIN), sold separately. The dining top overlays the playing surface and converts the 80-inch poker table to a dining configuration.
What's the kick plate for?
The metal kick plate protects the wood base from scuff damage from feet and chair contact while providing the visual signature that defines the Prohibition Series. Available in vintage brass (with Matte Black tables) or matte black (with Matte Walnut tables).
How is the table delivered?
LTL freight in 2 boxes due to the 225 lb weight and table size. Delivery requires an appointment with the freight carrier; final assembly typically requires two people.
