Overview

The BBO Halo Series Miya a tournament table dressed as a dining table.

The Miya solves the problem that keeps most poker tables in the basement: it looks like furniture. The frame is solid oak with a premium wood veneer top, built in a 91 3/4" oval dining silhouette that reads as a designer dining table until the Halo LED system comes on. There are no visible connectors, no plastic inserts, and no aggressive branding to give it away.

Beneath the wood sits a 78 1/4" x 30 3/8" playing area finished in water-resistant fabric, deep enough for a full 10-player game. Drop the matching dining top in place and the same footprint seats up to 10 for dinner.

The Halo lighting is a Warm Dim programmable LED system rather than the neon strips found on most lighted tables. It throws a focused golden glow over the felt the way cove lighting works in a private card suite, so the light lands on the cards and chips instead of in players' eyes.

The table weighs 220 lbs on its own and 310 lbs with the dining top fitted, which is part of why it stays planted through a long session. Assembly is recommended on delivery.

Construction

Built as furniture first, arena second.

01Solid Oak Frame

The base and frame are solid oak rather than veneered particle board, paired with a premium wood veneer top. At 220 lbs for the table alone, the weight keeps the surface still during the most active hands instead of shifting when players lean in.

02Warm Dim Halo LED

The integrated lighting is a programmable Warm Dim LED system tuned to mimic the cove lighting of a high-stakes suite. The golden tone and dimmability keep glare off the playing surface, which matters across a multi-hour session where harsh light causes fatigue.

03Water-Resistant Playing Surface

The 78 1/4" x 30 3/8" felt is a water-resistant fabric, so a knocked drink wipes off rather than soaking into the cushion. The 2" surface depth gives cards a clean slide and chips a stable stack.

04Concealed Dining Conversion

A matching wood dining top sits over the playing surface and turns the Miya into a finished dining table that seats up to 10. The 90 lb top stows the felt away completely, which is what lets the table live in a main room rather than a dedicated game room.

05Hidden Hardware

BBO stripped the usual poker-table tells from the Miya: no visible connectors, no cheap plastic inserts, no loud logos. With the dining top fitted it is hard to distinguish from a custom dining table, which is the entire point of the design.

Buyer's Guide

How to judge a furniture-grade convertible table.

Most "dual-purpose" poker tables compromise on one side of the equation. They either play well and look like equipment, or they look like furniture and play like a folding card table. Judge the Miya on whether it does both: the solid oak frame and veneer dining top answer the furniture side, while the 78 1/4" x 30 3/8" felt and 10-player capacity answer the playing side.

Pay attention to how the lighting is implemented. Color-cycling RGB strips photograph well but wash out the table and tire the eyes. The Miya's Warm Dim system is a deliberately different choice — a single focused, dimmable warm tone designed for play, not for a light show.

Weight is a fair proxy for build quality on a table like this. At 220 lbs, the Miya is heavier than the flat-pack convertibles it competes with, and that mass is what stops the surface from creeping during a game. The trade-off is that it is not a table you move alone or fold away — it is meant to stay put.

Finally, confirm the footprint against your room. The table is 91 3/4" long on its own and 95 3/4" with the dining top, seating up to 10 in either mode. Measure for chairs pulled out on all sides before committing to a spot.

FAQ

Questions buyers ask

Does the Miya come with the dining top?

The Miya is designed around a matching wood dining top that converts the playing surface into a dining table seating up to 10. The top weighs 90 lbs and brings the table's footprint to 95 3/4" x 47 5/8".

How many players does it seat?

Up to 10, in both poker and dining configurations. The 78 1/4" x 30 3/8" playing area provides room for a full table without crowding.

What kind of lighting does it use?

A programmable Warm Dim LED system. Rather than color-cycling neon, it produces a focused, dimmable golden glow modeled on the cove lighting used in private card rooms, keeping light on the felt and out of players' eyes.

How heavy is the table, and does it move easily?

The table weighs 220 lbs on its own and 310 lbs with the dining top fitted. That mass is intentional — it keeps the surface stable during play. It is built to stay in place rather than fold or roll away.

Is the playing surface durable against spills?

The surface is finished in water-resistant fabric, so liquid sits on top to be wiped away instead of soaking into the cushion.

Does it require assembly?

Assembly is recommended on delivery. Given the 220 lb table weight, plan for a second person to help position it.
