Cabinet is solid birch and birch veneer — not MDF. Solid wood construction expands and contracts with seasonal humidity rather than absorbing moisture and swelling at the joints, making this cabinet more durable in unconditioned basement installations than MDF alternatives.
02Chrome-Plated Hollow Steel Rods
All rods are chrome-plated, hollow steel running through E-Z Spin ball bearings. Hollow construction reduces rotational inertia so players snap into position faster; the chrome layer over steel resists corrosion at the high-friction bearing contact points.
03Counter-Balanced ABS Players
Each figure counter-balances to the horizontal position when the rod is released. This prevents the goalkeeper from defaulting to a blocked angle during possession changes and enables one-handed passes without manual re-positioning.
049 mm Cross-Supported Playfield
The 46 in x 24.5 in playing surface is 9 mm thick and reinforced with a cross-support structure beneath the deck. At 9 mm, the surface resists the gradual bow that develops in thinner playfields — a bow that causes pucks to drift toward center-field on dead-ball play.
051.75-in Adjustable Leg Levelers
Each leg has a 1.75 in independent adjustable leveler. On an uneven concrete or tile floor — the most common surface for basement game rooms — 1.75 in of travel compensates for grade changes that smaller levelers cannot reach.
06Inlaid Dual Analog Scoring
Scoring units are inlaid flush into the cabinet rail, eliminating the external hardware projection that snags clothing during side-rail contact. The 3-goalie configuration eliminates the dead-zone shooting angle in front of goal that the older 1-goalie layout permitted.
