The 92 in x 48 in surface is 1.75 in thick — 75% thicker than the 1 in playfield on the Augusta. At 1.75 in of engineered wood depth, the surface mass provides ball roll response that the manufacturer describes as matching slate-surface play quality, without the cost and structural reinforcement that a 300+ lb three-piece slate bed requires.
02Dual-Pedestal Base
Two structural pedestals replace the four-leg post design used on standard pool tables. The pedestal footprint is wider at the floor than post legs, which lowers the table's effective center of gravity and resists tipping during hard break shots. The design also eliminates the leg hardware that requires torquing and can loosen over time.
03MDF, Poplar Wood, and Birch Veneer Cabinet
The cabinet combines MDF panels with poplar wood structural members and birch veneer facing — the same material combination used in the Montecito foosball table. Real wood veneer provides the grain depth and stain acceptance that gives the driftwood finish its visual texture; MDF provides the dimensional stability.
04K-66 Rubber Cushions
K-66 cushions are a step up from the K-55 profile used on standard residential tables — the taller profile provides slightly faster rebound speed and is preferred for tables with longer playfields where ball momentum at the rail is lower. At 92 in, the Montecito's playfield benefits from the K-66 speed advantage.
05Driftwood Finish with Blue Felt
Multi-step driftwood finish over the birch veneer. The gray-brown driftwood palette with blue felt is a coastal and farmhouse-contemporary combination that reads as furniture in living spaces and is distinct from the traditional mahogany-red of tournament-aesthetic tables.
06Adjustable Leg Levelers
Each pedestal base includes levelers to compensate for uneven floors. At 360 lb, the table is a permanent installation — leveling is set during initial assembly and adjusted only if the table is repositioned.
