The BPUB is a 42-inch tall round pub table designed for cocktail-style seating with bar-height stools. The pedestal base is the structural feature that distinguishes it from four-legged dining tables — pedestal bases maximize legroom for seated guests and don't conflict with the rotating bases of swivel barstools. Water-resistant lacquer finish handles drink condensation and spills without water rings.

01Round Top Geometry

Round tops are the practical shape for pub tables — no corners, even reach to the center from any seat, easy to walk around. Better than square tops for tight corners and small rooms where corner clearance matters.

Classic pedestal base — single central support rather than four legs. Pedestal bases maximize legroom for seated guests and eliminate the leg-conflict problem that four-legged tables create with swivel barstools.

Pub tables solve a specific seating problem — bar-height seating away from the bar itself. Two stools at a pub table create an intimate cocktail seating cluster, useful in larger game rooms where the bar is occupied or where you want separate conversation areas.

Pub tables also work as overflow bar seating during larger entertaining. When the bar's two-or-three stool capacity fills up, additional guests can sit at the pub table at the same bar height — creating continuous-height seating across the room rather than mixing dining-height chairs with bar-height stools.

The pedestal base matters because of the swivel-barstool conflict. Four-legged tables interfere with the rotating bases of swivel stools — the stool legs and table legs occupy the same space when the stool rotates. Pedestal bases eliminate this conflict entirely.
