Overview

Hot Wheels Pinball Machine American Pinball's officially licensed Hot Wheels — 3D lenticular back panel, 5 die-cast cars on display.

Hot Wheels Pinball is the first officially licensed Hot Wheels pinball machine, produced by American Pinball under license from Mattel. The Hot Wheels franchise has sold over 5 billion die-cast cars across 20,000-plus designs since launching in 1968 — Hot Wheels is currently the world's #1-selling toy by unit volume.

The playfield is built around six balls, two translucent orange-and-blue Hot Wheels ramps, over 140 RGB lights for feature inserts and general illumination, four flashers, drop targets, spinners, and a magnet that grabs or accelerates the ball. The cabinet's signature visual feature is the first-of-its-kind 3D lenticular back panel.

Construction

Built for the floor.

01Two Translucent Hot Wheels Ramps

The cabinet ships with two ramps — one orange, one blue — using translucent Hot Wheels-themed coloring. The translucent material lights up under playfield illumination and visually references the die-cast cars themselves.

02First-Of-Its-Kind 3D Lenticular Back Panel

The cabinet's backbox uses a 3D lenticular back panel — the first of its kind in pinball. The panel shifts depth and motion based on viewing angle, producing a layered visual effect that flat translites cannot.

035 Die-Cast Hot Wheels Cars on Display

Five officially licensed Hot Wheels die-cast cars are mounted on the playfield as decorative and shot-target elements. The cars are the actual Mattel die-cast pieces, not playfield-printed graphics.

04140+ RGB Lights

The playfield carries over 140 RGB lights between feature inserts and general illumination — bright enough to register on FEC floors and operator-tunable for venue ambiance.

05Magnet, VUK, and Kicker Geometry

Playfield features include a magnet that grabs or accelerates the ball, a Vertical Upkick (VUK) with Orange Loop Return, a player-facing kicker, two spinners, two drop targets, a saucer with side kick-out, and three Redline Tire pop bumpers.

06Fully Decaled Apron and Side Art

The apron ships fully decaled with Hot Wheels graphics, and internal cabinet side art is included with every game. The cabinet's exterior presentation matches Hot Wheels brand standards across all surfaces.

Buyer's Guide

How to think about this purchase.

Hot Wheels licensing is the central buying argument. This is the first officially licensed Hot Wheels pinball cabinet — for operators and collectors who specifically want Hot Wheels content, there is no alternative source.

The 3D lenticular back panel is a meaningful differentiator versus typical pinball artwork. Buyers should weigh that the back panel adds visual depth in a way a printed translite cannot — material in venues where guests pass the cabinet multiple times.

American Pinball's service infrastructure is shared across the lineup. Operators already running Houdini, Legends of Valhalla, or Barry O's BBQ Challenge can stock the same parts for Hot Wheels.

The 275 lb cabinet weight (unboxed) is at the heavier end for American Pinball cabinets. Plan two-person delivery and confirm flooring rating in the install location.
