Star Wars: Fall of the Empire Pinball Machine

Overview
Stern's Star Wars: Fall of the Empire pinball reframes the original trilogy for pinball. Players take part in iconic moments — taking down an AT-AT with a snowspeeder tow cable, destroying the Death Star II during Death Star Multiball, and escaping Cloud City by reactivating the Millennium Falcon's hyperdrive.
Additional mode content covers Jabba the Hutt's Sarlacc Pit, stormtrooper battles, TIE fighter engagements, and Force-use mechanics that mimic the trilogy's lightsaber and ability sequences. Audio and footage from Lucasfilm's original trilogy are integrated throughout under license.

Construction
The Pro is the standard production cabinet. The Premium adds upgraded mechanical features (including enhanced AT-AT and Death Star mechanisms) and upgraded cabinet armor. Both editions share rules and core gameplay.
The Hoth AT-AT takedown sequence uses a tow cable shot that physically lowers the AT-AT model on the playfield — the cabinet's most cinematically referenced moment, lifted directly from The Empire Strikes Back.
Death Star Multiball requires players to lower the shields on the central Death Star feature. Successful shield depletion triggers the multiball sequence and a high-scoring jackpot path.
The center jump ramp serves as the Falcon's hyperdrive trigger — players hit the ramp to escape Cloud City. The ramp gates progression into the cabinet's hyperspace mode sequence.
Jabba's palace and the Sarlacc Pit anchor the title's mid-game mode sequence. The Sarlacc target consumes errant shots and serves as a comedic-tension scoring penalty.

Buyer's Guide
Pro versus Premium is the main purchase decision. The Pro is Stern's standard production cabinet with the base feature set. The Premium adds the title-specific mechanical features called out in the construction section and upgraded cabinet armor. Rules and core gameplay are identical between editions.
Limited Edition (LE) cabinets are produced in numbered runs and are not always available at retail. For operators or collectors who specifically need an LE, contact Game Room Empire for current allocation — LE pricing is not listed on this page.
Stern Insider Connected is included on all current Stern production. Operators running multiple Stern titles can manage all cabinets through a single operator portal — meaningful for routes and FECs running multi-title programs.
Standard Stern cabinet dimensions apply: 27 in W x 55 in D x 75.5 in H installed and 31 in x 31 in x 56 in shipping crate at 280 lb. Plan delivery accordingly.
