Legends of Valhalla is American Pinball's fourth title, designed by Riot Pinball. The game places players in the world of Norse gods and Viking mythology — working toward Valhalla as the wizard mode and Ragnarok as the super wizard mode. The mode tree includes 16 distinct Viking legends, plus multiple multiball sequences and mini-features unlocked during specific play actions. 02Kraken Magnet Mechanic

A hidden under-playfield magnet — themed as the Kraken — grabs the ball during specific game states and flings it around in chaos. The mechanic is unpredictable enough to influence late-game scoring decisions.

03Viking Ship Multiball Lock

The Viking ship serves as the cabinet's primary ball lock. Players lock balls inside the ship to assemble their army before launching the multiball sequence.

04Three Flippers, Three Metal Ramps

The playfield uses three flippers and three metal ramps. The geometry creates a variety of fast shots and crossing paths — a more open layout than a standard two-flipper design.
