Atari Missile Command Recharged Pro+ Arcade Cabinet
Shipping & Delivery
Overview
Missile Command Recharged Pro+ is the first dedicated Missile Command arcade cabinet produced since the original 1980 release. Manufactured by Alan-1 under Atari license, the Pro+ is a 2-player upright with two RGB LED trackballs, three fire buttons per station, and a 32 inch HD display. The cabinet measures 31 1/8 inches wide and weighs 300 lb installed.
The original gameplay returns alongside a new "Big Red Button" mechanic that triggers the Alpha-1 Protocol — a screen-clearing counter-force tied to a building DEFCON meter. Cabinet art is hand-illustrated by Alan-1 studio artist Alejandro Radio. Physical effects include wind blowers, two rumble motors, and a cabinet knocker. Online play and MLeS tournaments are included free.

Construction
Each player station has an RGB LED trackball and three fire buttons — the same control geometry as the 1980 cabinet, with modern illuminated hardware that survives commercial duty cycles.
A dedicated "Big Red Button" on each player station activates the Alpha-1 Protocol. Players build a DEFCON meter during play, and triggering the button unleashes a counter-force that clears the screen of enemy objects.
Cabinet art is hand-illustrated by Alan-1 studio artist Alejandro Radio rather than printed from stock vector files. The artwork is unique to this cabinet line.
Gameplay runs on a 32 inch HD display — sized correctly for a 2-player upright station spacing. The original arcade display was a 19-inch raster CRT; the modern panel preserves the look at higher pixel density.
Wind blowers fire during incoming missile sequences, two rumble motors mounted to the chassis transmit explosion impact, and a pinball-style cabinet knocker accents the largest detonations.
Wired Ethernet or WiFi connectivity is included free for the life of the cabinet — MLeS leaderboards, tournament scheduling, and score-tracking notifications run on the same shared platform as the other Recharged titles.
Buyer's Guide
The Pro+ is purpose-built for traditional arcades, arcade bars, theater lobbies, freeplay venues, and route placement. The compact 31 1/8 inch wide cabinet fits standard arcade bays and clears single-doorway delivery without disassembly.
This is the first new Missile Command cabinet from Atari's licensed manufacturer in 45 years. For operators building a heritage arcade rotation, the licensing matters — this is not an unauthorized clone.
The DEFCON / Big Red Button mechanic is the differentiator versus the 1980 cabinet. It changes the play loop materially — players save the meter for high-density attack waves and a successful trigger swings round scoring decisively.
All Recharged platform cabinets share the same online infrastructure. A Missile Command Pro+ can sit on the same network as Asteroids Recharged and Avian Knights cabinets and share operator dashboard data.
