Hathaway Hustler 8-ft Pool Table with Ball Return 0.75-in playfield, 88 x 44-in surface, integrated ball return, blue felt.

The Hustler 8-ft is the 8-ft version of the Hustler series — same integrated ball return system and cabinet construction as the 7-ft (BG2515PB) with a full 88 in L x 44 in W playing surface at 0.75 in thick. Cabinet is black MDF at 96 in L x 54 in W x 32 in H, assembled weight 330 lb. Blue felt with K-66 rubber cushions. Ships LTL in a single 480 lb carton.

The 88 in x 44 in playfield matches the regulation 8-ft competition surface dimensions. Ball return channels all pocketed balls to a single end collection box. Assembly approximately 60 minutes; two-person required. Includes 2 pool cues (57 in), ball set, chalk, table brush, and racking triangle. 180-day limited warranty. Rated for ages 4 and up.

01Integrated Ball Return — 8-ft Format

All six pockets connect to internal channels that route pocketed balls to a collection box at one end of the table. On an 8-ft table played at full session intensity — 5 to 10 racks — this saves 20 to 35 individual ball-retrieval steps per session compared to drop pocket tables.

0288 in x 44 in Regulation Playfield

The playing surface is the regulation 8-ft competition dimension — 88 in long x 44 in wide. This is the exact surface used in American Pool Association (APA) league play on 8-ft equipment, so players who have developed their game on commercial bar tables will find the geometry familiar.

030.75-in Playfield Thickness

0.75 in is the standard thickness for mid-tier 8-ft residential tables. Thicker than the 0.625 in used on the Maverick pool-tennis combo, it provides better cushion mount rigidity and longer flat-surface retention under humidity cycling.

04K-66 Rubber Cushions

K-66 profile cushions deliver fast, consistent rebound. On an 8-ft surface, the longer ball travel distances between cushion contacts make rebound consistency more important than on shorter tables — a ball that loses 30% of its momentum on a poor-quality cushion on an 8-ft table will not reach the target pocket from a bank shot where it would on a faster-cushioned surface.

The Hustler 7-ft (BG2515PB) and 8-ft (BG2520PB) are the same table in two sizes. The 8-ft requires approximately 212 in x 170 in of room versus the 7-ft's 200 in x 164 in — 12 in more length and 6 in more width. In a 14 ft x 12 ft room, the 7-ft table fits with comfortable clearance; the 8-ft does not. In a 18 ft x 14 ft room, the 8-ft fits well. Measure the room in its actual use configuration — with furniture, doorways, and any fixed obstacles — before selecting between sizes.

The ball return system adds approximately 98.48 lb over the Jupiter 7-ft (198 lb vs. 231.52 lb). On the 8-ft, the table ships at 480 lb total freight weight. The ground-level receiving location for this size of freight delivery needs to be accessible to a standard freight truck with a liftgate — a concrete garage apron or a loading dock. Interior delivery to an upper-floor room is not possible with standard LTL freight service without special arrangement.
