The Maverick is a 7-ft pool table with a full-size table tennis conversion top — two games in one cabinet without the dining function of the Newport and Park Avenue combo sets. Pool playfield is 74.75 in L x 36.75 in W at 0.625 in thick with red felt. The table tennis top converts the full 84 in x 46 in cabinet surface into a regulation-length table tennis surface. Cabinet is black MDF at 84 in L x 46 in W x 31 in H, assembled weight 252 lb.

Ships LTL in a single 346 lb carton. Assembly approximately 60 minutes; two-person required. Includes 2 pool cues (57 in), billiard ball set, chalk, table brush, racking triangle, table tennis net and posts, paddles, and balls. 180-day limited warranty. Rated for ages 3 and up.

01Full-Size Table Tennis Conversion Top

The included table tennis top converts the 84 in x 46 in cabinet surface into a 84 in x 46 in table tennis surface — matching the regulation 9 ft x 5 ft (108 in x 60 in) table tennis dimension at 84 in length. The top lifts off the cabinet and stores vertically when pool configuration is active.

Pool playing surface is 74.75 in x 36.75 in at 0.625 in thick with K-66 rubber cushions. Red felt with inlaid white diamond sights on the rails. The 0.625 in playfield is appropriate for the recreational and casual competitive use profile of a two-function combo table.

03Black MDF Cabinet — 84 in x 46 in

The 84 in L x 46 in W cabinet is 2 in narrower than the Newport and Park Avenue (47 in wide) — this is because no benches are included, so the cabinet width does not need to accommodate bench attachment hardware. At 252 lb, the Maverick is lighter than the bench-equipped combo tables.

04Two Configurations — No Dining

The Maverick supports pool and table tennis but not dining — there is no dining tabletop in the box. This makes it the right choice for buyers who want the dual-game format without the bench seating commitment of the Newport and Park Avenue sets.

05K-66 Rubber Cushions

K-66 cushions on the pool configuration provide consistent ball rebound. The cushion speed on a 0.625-in surface is the same as on thicker surfaces — cushion spec and playfield thickness are independent variables.

06Leg Levelers

Adjustable leg levelers on each leg. At 252 lb, this is effectively a permanent installation, though lighter than the bench-equipped combo tables for repositioning purposes.

The Newport adds a dining function, two padded benches with storage, and a thicker 0.75-in playfield — for $1,000 more. The Maverick is the right choice for buyers who want pool and table tennis but do not need the dining function and do not want to pay for the bench seating system. At $700 versus $1,700, the Maverick saves $1,000 by removing the three items that account for the Newport's premium: benches, dining top, and the thicker playfield.

The Maverick II (BG50390) is the updated version of the Maverick with a 0.59-in playfield and blue felt — functionally equivalent but with a slightly different cabinet design and feel color. Both are $699.99 MSRP. The choice between them is finish preference: the original Maverick has red felt; the Maverick II has blue felt. LTL freight required for both.
