01Hydraulic Bench Lid Hinges
Both bench lids use dual hydraulic hinges — the same mechanism used in Ottoman storage furniture. The hydraulic resistance slows the lid opening speed so the lid doesn't slam open against its travel stop, and controls the closing speed so the lid doesn't drop onto stored contents or fingers. Standard spring hinges do neither.
02Three Convertible Configurations
Billiards, table tennis, and dining configurations switch in under 5 minutes. Pool configuration uses the standard felt rails. Table tennis adds the included net and posts. Dining adds the solid tabletop over the playing surface for an 84 in x 47 in dining surface that seats up to 6.
03Black MDF Cabinet
Black melamine over MDF. The black-and-red combination (black cabinet, red felt) is the most visually dramatic in Hathaway's combo table lineup — appropriate for dedicated game rooms and basement entertainment spaces where the table is the visual focal point.
040.75-in Playfield with K-66 Cushions
The 74.75 in x 36.75 in surface is 0.75 in thick with K-66 rubber cushions and blended wool-polyester felt. Same playing specification as the Newport — the Pool performance between both tables is equivalent.
05Post-Style Legs with Levelers
Sturdy engineered wood post legs with adjustable levelers. At 592 lb assembled (the combined table and bench weight), this is the heaviest piece of game room furniture in Hathaway's lineup — two people are required to move any component.
06Full Storage in Both Benches
Both 67-in benches have padded seats and lift-top storage compartments. The dining tabletop, table tennis accessories, and full billiard accessory kit fit inside the two bench compartments — no external storage needed for any configuration component.
