Overview

RAM Game Room Metal 24" Pool Cue Holder six-cue metal stand with minimal footprint.

The PCH holds six cues on a single round-base stand that takes up roughly 11 inches of floor space — meaningful when the game room already has a table, chairs, bar, and lighting competing for floor area. Metal construction (not wood, not MDF) means the stand tolerates being kicked, bumped, and moved without showing damage.

11 inches in diameter, 24 inches tall, 13 lbs. Six cue slots arranged around a central post. Holds six cues; does not hold balls. Available in multiple finishes — matte black (MB/MB), matte black with stainless accent (MB/ST), and oil-rubbed bronze (ORB) — to coordinate with billiard light hardware and table base finishes.

Construction

Solid metal in a 24-inch footprint.

01All-Metal Construction

The base, post, and ring holders are all metal — not MDF, not solid wood, not plastic. Metal tolerates being moved across the floor, knocked into, and used as a hand-rest without showing damage the way softer materials do.

02Six Cue Slots

Six ring-style cue slots arranged around the central post. Each slot holds a single 2-piece cue at the joint, keeping the cue vertical and protecting the shaft from leaning weight.

03Round Base for Stability

The round base footprint distributes weight evenly across the floor. Compared to floor-corner cue holders, the freestanding round stand doesn't require wall placement — it can sit anywhere with sufficient clearance.

0424-Inch Height for Cue Joints

24 inches places the holding rings at the typical joint height of a 2-piece cue, which is the correct point to support the cue. Holding closer to the butt or shaft creates leverage that stresses the cue over long-term storage.

05Multiple Finish Options

Matte black on matte black (MB/MB) — uniform modern finish. Matte black with stainless accents (MB/ST) — contrast detailing. Oil-rubbed bronze (ORB) — warm traditional finish. Pick the option that matches the room's other metalwork.

0611-Inch Footprint

The base measures 11 inches across — small enough to sit beside a pool table or in a corner without intruding on play space. Footprint matters in finished home game rooms where every inch of clearance is contested.

Buyer's Guide

Floor stand vs. wall rack vs. corner rack.

Cue storage options break into three categories. Wall racks mount to drywall and hold cues horizontally; they save floor space but limit placement to wall locations. Corner racks tuck into room corners and hold cues vertically; they save space but only work in corner positions. Free-standing floor stands like the PCH go anywhere with the trade-off of taking up floor footprint.

Pick a floor stand when the room's layout doesn't have wall space near the table (a common problem in finished basements with windows and doors competing with wall placement), or when you want cue storage on the same side of the room as the cocktail bar.

Six cues is a typical home capacity — covers a hosted game night with two break cues and four playing cues among guests. For more serious storage (10+ cues), wall racks generally make more sense than floor stands, which scale poorly past 8 cues.

Metal construction is the durability spec. Wood cue holders look warmer in a traditional room but show wear from being knocked into during play. Metal is the practical choice for high-use game rooms with regular guests.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

How many cues does it hold?

Six. The ring holders are spaced around the central post to keep each cue independently supported.

Does it hold balls?

No. The PCH is a cue-only holder. For combined cue and ball storage, the wall-mounted WR1 or the SBENCH storage bench provide both.

Will it hold one-piece cues?

Yes — the rings hold the cue at the joint location, but they'll hold a 1-piece cue at the equivalent vertical position. The cue body sits in the ring; the butt extends below.

What's the difference between MB/MB and MB/ST finishes?

MB/MB is uniform matte black across the base, post, and rings. MB/ST keeps the matte black base and post but uses stainless steel rings for contrast.

Can I move it around the room?

Yes. At 13 lbs and 11 inches across, it lifts easily and relocates as needed. The round base sits stably on hard floors and low-pile carpet without sliding.

Will the finish chip from cue impacts?

Powder-coated finishes on metal are durable against the normal contact of cue placement and removal. Hard impacts (dropped cues, dragged across the floor) can mark the surface, but routine use doesn't damage the finish.
