Overview

The BBO Halo Series Stratton a boardroom table that plays like a card room.

The Stratton is defined by its base. Instead of the four splayed legs found on most poker tables, it sits on a solid wood Y-Leg pedestal — a monolithic, weighted silhouette that keeps the surface from shifting during a hand. That architectural base is what lets the table double convincingly as a conference table or a dining table without looking like equipment.

The finish is offered in Black Walnut Wood or American Walnut and Onyx stains, so the table reads as a furniture-grade centerpiece in a study, suite, or dining room rather than a dedicated game space.

Underneath, it delivers the playability BBO is known for: a 78 3/4" x 30 7/8" playing surface seating 10 for poker or a conference. BBO removed the usual giveaways — no plastic inserts, no visible hardware, no loud branding — so a matching dining top drops over the felt and the table passes as a sculptural dining or meeting surface.

At 91 3/4" long on its base, and 95 3/4" with the dining top fitted, it is a full-size statement piece built to anchor the room it sits in.

Construction

Engineered around a single weighted base.

01Solid Wood Y-Leg Pedestal

The Stratton's defining feature is its structural base: a solid wood Y-Leg pedestal rather than independent corner legs. A single weighted pedestal means no leg to kick, no rocking under elbow pressure, and a clear floor for every seat around the 91 3/4" surface.

02Walnut Finish Options

The table is finished in Black Walnut Wood or American Walnut and Onyx stains. These are furniture-grade finishes chosen so the Stratton sits correctly in a curated home or office, not just a game room.

03Tournament Playing Surface

The 78 3/4" x 30 7/8" felt is sized for a full 10-player game, with a 1 3/4" surface depth that gives cards a clean slide and chips a settled stack.

04Matching Dining Top

A matching dining top fits over the playing surface and brings the table to a 95 3/4" x 47 5/8" footprint, converting it into a sculptural dining or conference surface. The same table seats 10 in either role.

05Concealed Hardware

BBO eliminated the typical poker-table tells — no cheap plastic inserts, no visible fasteners, no aggressive logos. With the top in place the Stratton is indistinguishable from a high-end dining table, which is what makes it work in a main room.

Buyer's Guide

Why the base matters more than the felt.

When comparing high-end convertible poker tables, look first at how the table stands up. Four-leg designs are cheaper to build but introduce flex and give players a leg to bump. The Stratton's solid wood Y-Leg pedestal trades that for a single weighted column, which is why it stays planted through an aggressive hand and reads as architecture rather than equipment.

Second, judge the finish against the room you will keep it in. The Black Walnut and Onyx-stained options are meant to coexist with serious furniture. If a table only comes in a single gloss or a felt-and-vinyl wrap, it will always look like a game table no matter where you put it.

Third, weigh the dual-purpose claim honestly. The Stratton is sold as poker by night and a conference or dining surface by day, and the matching dining top is what makes that real — without it, a felt surface is still a felt surface. Plan to buy the top if the room needs to serve two functions.

Finally, size it. The base footprint is 91 3/4" x 43 7/8", growing to 95 3/4" x 47 5/8" with the dining top. It seats 10. Confirm you have clearance for ten chairs pulled out before choosing its place in the room.

FAQ

Questions buyers ask

What makes the Stratton's base different?

It uses a solid wood Y-Leg pedestal rather than four separate legs. The single weighted column resists movement during play and gives every seat clear floor space, while reading as architectural furniture.

What finishes are available?

Black Walnut Wood, or American Walnut and Onyx stains. Each is a furniture-grade finish intended to suit a home study, dining room, or office suite.

Can it be used as a conference or dining table?

Yes. It seats 10 for poker or a conference, and a matching dining top converts the playing surface into a dining or meeting surface, bringing the footprint to 95 3/4" x 47 5/8".

How big is the playing surface?

78 3/4" x 30 7/8", with a 1 3/4" surface depth — sized for a full 10-player game.

Does it look like a poker table when set up for play?

BBO removed the usual giveaways — plastic inserts, visible hardware, and loud branding. The result is a clean surface that holds its furniture character even in poker mode.

How much space does it need?

The base footprint is 91 3/4" x 43 7/8", growing to 95 3/4" x 47 5/8" with the dining top. Allow additional clearance for ten chairs around the table.
