Overview

Victory Professional 25mm Table Tennis Table with Two Carriage Transport.

The single specification that separates a professional table tennis table from a recreational one is surface thickness. The International Table Tennis Federation sets 25mm as the minimum for certified competitive play. Below that threshold, the MDF flexes on impact, and the bounce becomes inconsistent. The Victory Professional is built to that standard — a 1-inch, CARB-certified MDF surface finished in 20 layers of coating — so every ball behaves the way it should, every time.

The frame is 2-inch diameter powder-coated steel. The eight transport wheels are 5-inch locking casters. Two dedicated carriages are included for moving a table that, fully assembled, weighs 912 pounds. These are not marketing numbers. They are the specs that determine whether this table plays and moves like a professional piece of equipment, or like something that only looks like one.

Construction

What the Victory Professional
Is Built From

0125mm CARB-Certified MDF Playing Surface

The playing surface is 1 inch (25mm) of CARB-certified MDF, finished in 20 layers of coating for a flat, consistent playing field. This is the ITTF competition-standard thickness. Thinner surfaces flex under the force of a hard shot, producing an unpredictable bounce. At 25mm, the surface is rigid enough to return a consistent ball response from the center of the table to the edges.

02Powder-Coated Steel Frame and Legs

The frame and legs are 2-inch diameter steel, finished in powder coating for corrosion resistance. This undercarriage provides the mass and rigidity the playing surface requires. The table does not vibrate on hard smashes and does not shift during extended play. It is the structural reason the surface performs the way it does.

03Two Carriage Transport System

Two transport carriages come with the table. The Victory Professional weighs 912 pounds assembled. Without carriages that correctly distribute that load, moving it requires more people and more risk of damage to the table or the floor. The dual carriage system makes repositioning a two-person task rather than a logistical problem.

04Eight 5-Inch Locking Casters

Eight 5-inch diameter locking wheels are mounted to the frame. Larger wheels roll more smoothly across uneven indoor surfaces and require less force to move. Each wheel locks independently. When all eight are locked, the table does not drift or rock during play, regardless of how hard the surface receives the ball.

05US and European Safety-Certified Lock System

The locking guard mechanism meets ANSI and EN safety standards. It holds the table in all three positions: open play, playback, and storage. The lock requires a deliberate action to release and cannot disengage under the weight or movement of normal use. This matters most in spaces with children present or in clubs where the table is moved and set up repeatedly.

06Four Independent Leg Levelers

Four adjustable leg levelers allow the table to be set level on floors that are not perfectly flat. A table that is not level does not play fair — one end of the table will return a different ball response than the other. The levelers eliminate that variable and take less than two minutes to adjust.

Buyer's Guide

What to Look for When
Comparing Table Tennis Tables

Most table tennis tables sold at retail are built to a 15mm or 19mm surface thickness. At those specs, the tables are playable and appropriate for casual use. The difference becomes apparent under harder play — shots that should carry consistent pace and spin begin to produce results that depend more on where the ball lands on the table than on how it was hit.

The 25mm standard exists because the ITTF tested the difference. It is not a premium specification invented by manufacturers to justify a higher price. It is the threshold at which the surface stops being a variable in the game. Below it, the table is a factor. At it, the table gets out of the way and lets the players determine the outcome.

Frame weight and wheel quality follow the same logic. A lighter frame resonates differently on impact. Smaller wheels bind on grout lines and transitions between floor surfaces. These details do not show up in product photos. They show up after six months of regular use in a basement, gym, or game room.

The Victory Professional is built to a spec that holds up under that use. The 1-year limited warranty covers the period when manufacturing defects typically reveal themselves. The table ships with two paddles and three balls, assembles in approximately 60 minutes with a wrench, and is designed for indoor use only — MDF does not tolerate humidity or temperature fluctuation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common Questions

What does ITTF specification compliant mean for this table?

The ITTF sets the standards that govern international competitive play, including minimum surface thickness (25mm), regulation table dimensions (9 ft × 5 ft), and ball response requirements. A table built to ITTF specifications meets those standards. The Victory Professional qualifies on all three. For formally sanctioned tournament play at the highest levels, buyers should confirm specific approval status directly with ITTF, as the approved table list is maintained separately.

Why does surface thickness matter for table tennis?

The MDF surface on a table tennis table flexes slightly on impact. At thinner gauges (15mm to 19mm), this flex produces inconsistent ball response — the bounce varies depending on where the ball lands. At 25mm, the surface is rigid enough that the bounce is predictable across the full playing field. This is why 25mm is the ITTF competition standard and why serious players treat surface thickness as the primary specification when selecting a table.

What is included with the two carriage transport system?

Two transport carriages are included with the table at purchase. They are designed to work with the eight 5-inch locking casters to distribute the table's 912-pound assembled weight during movement. Two people are recommended for repositioning.

Can the Victory Professional be used for solo practice?

Yes. The table folds at the center into a playback position, raising one half vertically so a single player can practice against it. Both halves also fold flat and lock for compact storage.

Is this table suitable for a basement or dedicated game room?

The Victory Professional is designed for indoor use only. It is appropriate for basements, dedicated game rooms, and climate-controlled facilities. MDF is sensitive to humidity and temperature fluctuation — conditions that are typical outdoors or in uninsulated spaces — which will degrade the surface over time.

How long does assembly take and what tools are needed?

Assembly takes approximately 60 minutes and requires a wrench. The table ships in 19 pieces. Two people are recommended for assembly, particularly for attaching the playing surface to the frame.
