RAM Game Room Prohibition-Led Table Lamp
Shipping & Delivery
Overview
Part of the Prohibition Series, the Capone (PROTL-2) and Ness (PROTL-4) are portable LED lamps with USB-C rechargeable batteries — so a game-room table light no longer needs a wall outlet or extension cord routed across the floor. Three lighting modes with adjustable dimming on each give granular control over mood lighting for poker, cocktails, or low-key conversation around the bar.
Satin black and brass finish over metal construction matches the speakeasy aesthetic of the broader Prohibition collection (cocktail bars, back bars, poker tables, barstools, dining chairs). At 7¾" wide and 13¾" tall and just 3.5 lbs, the lamp moves between the bar top, poker rail, and side table without re-cabling. Custom-built by RAM Game Room using premium materials — not the mass-market plastic alternative most cordless table lamps default to.
Construction
USB-C charging means the lamp uses the same cable as a modern phone or laptop. No proprietary wall wart, no replaceable battery cells — the lamp recharges from any laptop or USB-C wall adapter.
Each of the three modes runs a different color temperature and beam pattern — a warm focused pool for a single side table, a cooler general wash, and a low-output ambient for late-night low-light setting.
Each lighting mode has its own dimming range, so the lamp does not jump between bright preset levels. Fine adjustment matters when the rest of the room is already lit by a fixed billiard light overhead.
Metal construction with satin black powder coat and brass accents. The finish reads as a deliberate furniture piece on the bar top, not a utilitarian work lamp. Matches the Prohibition Series cocktail bar and back bar trim.
7¾" wide × 13¾" tall and 3.5 lbs. Small enough to sit on a poker rail without crowding the playing surface, light enough to move between rooms without effort.
PROTL-2 (Capone) and PROTL-4 (Ness) share the same chassis and electronics — only the shade silhouette differs. Pick by visual fit with the rest of the Prohibition Series furniture in the room.
Buyer's Guide
Most table lamps are corded — which is fine on a side table near an outlet but a problem in the middle of a game room where the natural placement is on the bar top or poker rail. Routing a cord across a walking area is both a trip hazard and a visual disruption.
A rechargeable USB-C lamp solves this by being genuinely portable. The Capone and Ness hold a charge for a full evening's use on the lowest dimming setting and recharge from any USB-C source between sessions.
The three lighting modes matter more in a game room than in a typical living space. Poker needs even, neutral light over the cards — too warm and the suit colors blend, too dim and the chip counts get misread. Cocktail conversation wants warm, low light. The lamp covers both, plus a third mode for low-light ambient use.
Within the Prohibition Series, the lamp is the connective piece — its satin-black-and-brass finish matches the cocktail bar trim, the back bar lighting, and the Prohibition barstool frame. Buying it as part of the series gives the room a consistent visual signature.

FAQ
How long does the lamp run on a single charge?
Runtime depends on the mode and dimming level selected. The lowest dimming setting holds for a full evening of use; the highest-output setting drains the battery faster, as expected.
What's the difference between the Capone and the Ness?
PROTL-2 (Capone) and PROTL-4 (Ness) share the same chassis, electronics, battery, and finish. The difference is the shade silhouette — pick by aesthetic preference and how the lamp visually fits with the rest of the Prohibition Series furniture in the room.
Does it come with a charging cable?
A USB-C cable is included with the lamp. Any USB-C power adapter (phone charger, laptop wall brick) will charge it; no proprietary power supply is required.
Can the lamp run while plugged in?
Yes. The lamp continues to function while connected to USB-C power, so it can act as a corded lamp for stationary use and a portable lamp when moved off the cable.
Will the finish match the rest of the Prohibition Series furniture?
Yes. The satin black and brass finish is the same color palette used on the Prohibition cocktail bar, back bar, foot rails, and chair hardware throughout the series.
Is the lamp dimmable from off?
Each of the three modes has its own dimming range and remembers its last setting. Turning the lamp off and back on returns to the last mode and brightness used.
