Hathaway Allure 48-in Foosball Table - Black and Blue
Shipping & Delivery
Overview
The Allure is a 48.5 in foosball table distinguished by spring-loaded rods — a feature that eliminates sudden rod protrusion on the backswing, reducing the risk of being struck during aggressive play. Cabinet is MDF in a black and blue finish. At 41 lb assembled, it is the lightest table in Hathaway's foosball lineup and ships small parcel at 46.2 lb. Playing surface is 41.5 in L x 23 in W.
Chrome-plated steel rods with ABS handles and ABS counter-balanced players. Built-in ball return at both goal boxes keeps the ball in play after scoring. 1.5 in adjustable leg levelers. Assembly approximately 45 minutes. Includes 2 foosballs (32 mm ABS). 180-day limited warranty. Rated for ages 4 and up.
Construction
Unique spring-loaded rods retract the rod shaft on backswing, keeping the protruding rod end within the cabinet footprint during aggressive shots. On standard foosball tables without this feature, the rod extends 10–15 in beyond the cabinet during play and can strike a player standing behind the short end.
Both goal boxes have integrated automatic ball return. After a goal, the ball travels back to the serving position through a channel behind the playfield, eliminating the pause to manually retrieve the ball and keeping the pace of play continuous.
The playing surface is 41.5 in long x 23 in wide with a grass pitch graphic. Raised side rails keep the ball in bounds without manual retrieval during side-rail contact.
Rods are chrome-plated steel with ABS ergonomic octagon handles. Counter-balanced ABS players return to horizontal when the rod is released, keeping men in play-ready position between shots.
Leg levelers provide 1.5 in of adjustment — sufficient range for moderate floor grade variations common in finished basements and apartments.
At 41 lb, this is light enough for one adult to move, reposition, or store the table without assistance. A 48.5 in cabinet with 24 in player clearance at each end requires approximately 96.5 in (8 ft) of floor length.
Buyer's Guide
Standard foosball tables have through-rods that protrude 10 to 15 in beyond the cabinet on the backswing. In a room where the table is close to a wall or where players stand within 12 in of the short ends, this protrusion is a consistent impact hazard. Spring-loaded rods address this by spring-retracting the rod on the backswing so the tip stays within the cabinet footprint. If your game room has limited clearance at the short ends, this feature is the relevant comparison point.
The automatic ball return is a convenience feature that pays off in sessions with younger players who lose track of the ball after goals. At 41 lb, this table can be moved between rooms or stored under a bed or in a closet — relevant if the game room is a dual-purpose space. The small-parcel shipping at 46.2 lb means no freight appointment; expect a standard residential delivery.

Frequently Asked Questions
What are spring-loaded rods?
Spring-loaded rods retract on the backswing so the rod tip does not protrude beyond the cabinet. Standard through-rods extend 10–15 in past the cabinet during play, which can strike someone standing nearby.
Does this table have automatic ball return?
Yes — both goal boxes have a built-in return channel that sends the ball back to the serving position after a goal.
Does this table ship by freight or parcel?
Small parcel — 46.2 lb. No freight appointment required.
What size foosballs does this table use?
32 mm ABS foosballs. Two are included.
What is the warranty term?
180-day limited warranty covering defects in workmanship and materials under normal residential use.
Is this safe for children?
Rated for ages 4 and up. The spring-loaded rods specifically reduce the protrusion hazard that standard rods present near younger players standing at the short ends of the table.
