Overview

Hathaway Maverick II 7-ft Pool Table with Table Tennis Top PVC laminate cabinet, 0.59-in playfield, blue felt, two-game combo.

The Maverick II is the updated version of the Maverick — same 7-ft pool and table tennis combo format with a PVC laminate cabinet finish in blue, black, and silver and blue felt. Playfield is 74.75 in L x 36.75 in W at 0.59 in thick. Cabinet dimensions are 84 in L x 46 in W x 31 in H, assembled weight 240 lb. The PVC laminate finish is more moisture-resistant at the surface than the standard MDF melamine on the original Maverick.

Ships LTL in a single 290 lb carton. Assembly approximately 60 minutes; two-person required. Includes 2 pool cues (57 in), billiard ball set, chalk, table brush, racking triangle, table tennis net and posts, paddles, and balls. 180-day limited warranty. Rated for ages 3 and up.

01PVC Laminate Cabinet Finish

The MDF cabinet exterior is coated with PVC laminate in a blue, black, and silver scheme. PVC laminate is thicker and more impact-resistant than standard melamine coating — it resists the surface denting and edge chipping that can occur where cue tips and billiard balls make contact with the rail during play.

02Full-Size Table Tennis Top

The included table tennis conversion top covers the full 84 in x 46 in cabinet surface. Net and post set, paddles, and balls are included — ready to play immediately on delivery without additional accessory purchases.

030.59-in Playfield

The 74.75 in x 36.75 in pool surface is 0.59 in thick with K-66 cushions and blue felt. The 0.59-in surface is slightly thinner than the Maverick's 0.625 in — the difference is not perceptible during recreational play.

04240 lb Assembled Weight

At 240 lb, the Maverick II is 12 lb lighter than the original Maverick. The weight difference comes from the cabinet construction updates; both tables require LTL freight delivery.

05Blue Felt and K-66 Cushions

Blue felt with K-66 rubber cushions. The blue felt-on-black cabinet combination is the contemporary game room standard — the same palette used on the Hustler, Newport Rustic Gray, and Logan.

06Leg Levelers

Adjustable levelers on each leg. Lighter than the bench-equipped combo tables, the Maverick II can be repositioned by two adults if needed after initial installation.

The Maverick (BG1023) and Maverick II (BG50390) are the same table format at the same $699.99 MSRP. The Maverick II updates three things: the cabinet finish from standard black MDF to PVC laminate in blue-black-silver, the felt from red to blue, and the playfield from 0.625 in to 0.59 in. The PVC laminate is a construction upgrade; the playfield thickness change is negligible in practice.

Choose the Maverick II for the contemporary blue-black-silver palette and PVC laminate surface durability. Choose the original Maverick for the traditional red felt if your room's color scheme favors red. At identical pricing, the Maverick II is the current-production model and the Maverick is the legacy model — availability of the original Maverick may be limited as inventory depletes.
