Atari Asteroids Recharged Deluxe Arcade Cabinet
Shipping & Delivery
Overview
Asteroids Recharged Deluxe is the larger sibling of the Pro+ — a 3-player center cabinet built for FECs and larger arcade floors. This is the first time the Asteroids franchise has shipped with three simultaneous player stations. The cabinet weighs 525 lb installed and runs 51 1/2 inches wide.
All the Pro+ mechanics carry across: 256-wave campaign, original five-button control mapping, wind effects on thrust, two rumble motors, a cabinet knocker, and a 2.1-channel sound system. Online connectivity is included free over wired Ethernet or WiFi for MLeS tournaments and leaderboards.

Construction
Three side-by-side player stations let three operators run the 256-wave campaign at the same time. This is the only Asteroids cabinet ever produced with three-player simultaneous play.
The graphics replicate the look of the original vector-CRT cabinet but render on a high-definition flat panel — so the aesthetic survives the upgrade in pixel density.
A discrete subwoofer plus stereo cabinet speakers carry the thrust rumble and explosion effects with low-end response the original mono cabinet could not produce.
Cabinet-mounted wind fans fire behind each player station during thrust, two rumble motors transmit collision impact through the chassis, and a pinball-style knocker accents major hits.
Full-perimeter RGB LED edge lighting runs programmable attract sequences — useful at FECs where a cabinet competes against twenty others for attention.
The Deluxe is manufactured by Alan-1 in the USA under Atari license. Replacement switches, buttons, and trackballs use standard hardware and ship from domestic stock.
Buyer's Guide
The footprint is the single most important purchase decision on this model. The Deluxe occupies a 51 1/2 inch x 29 1/2 inch cabinet floor footprint and weighs 525 lb. It will not fit through a 32-inch doorway without partial disassembly — buyers should confirm delivery clearance before ordering.
If three-player simultaneous play is not a requirement and floor space is limited, the Pro+ delivers the same gameplay, effects, and online features in a 31 1/8 inch wide chassis at 300 lb.
FEC operators should weigh dwell time against floor footprint. A 3-player cabinet serves more guests per hour than two adjacent 2-player cabinets while occupying less aisle space — meaningful on busy weekends, less material on weekday revenue.
All Recharged cabinets share the same online infrastructure. A Deluxe and a Pro+ on the same network appear together on global leaderboards and can participate in the same MLeS tournament.
