Overview

Thrill-D Motion And Two 65-Inch UHD Screens the motion-cabinet build of Raw Thrills' licensed Fast & Furious racer.

This is the motion version of Fast & Furious Arcade, and the motion system is what separates it from every fixed-base driver on the floor. Thrill-D motion sits under the cockpit; two 65-inch UHD screens sit in front of it; five-channel audio and an LED-lit cockpit close in around the seat. The game holds the Fast & Furious license from Universal City Studios, with software by Raw Thrills, the studio behind Cruis'n Blast, SuperCars, Drift and the original The Fast and the Furious cabinet.

Read the location figures before anything else, because a motion cabinet is a floor-plan decision. Raw Thrills publishes an installed height of 130 inches (331 cm), a width of 58 inches (148 cm), a depth of 120 inches (305 cm) and a weight of 1,430 lb (649 kg). Power runs through two inlets, each drawing 10A at 120V/60Hz for 20A total, or 5A each and 10A total at 230V/50Hz. Up to eight cabinets link for head-to-head racing across six tracks in eight super cars, and players pull their results off the cabinet by QR code.

Construction

What The Motion Cabinet Is Built From

01Thrill-D Motion Cockpit

Thrill-D motion drives the cockpit itself, so the seat answers the road instead of the screen doing all the work. It is also the reason the published numbers read the way they do: 1,430 lb (649 kg) installed and 120 inches (305 cm) of depth. Site this cabinet on measured floor area, not on a wall slot.

02Two 65-Inch UHD Screens

Two screens at 65 inches each, both UHD. At the arm's-length viewing distance of a seated driver, a 65-inch panel running below UHD resolution shows its own pixel grid; UHD keeps track detail and mirror traffic legible at that range. Two of them widen what the driver can see without breaking the image into a bezel-heavy video wall.

03Five-Channel Audio

Five discrete channels, not a stereo pair. That gives the game somewhere to put an engine note, a rival car and an impact independently of one another around the seat, which is the part of a driving cabinet a two-channel system flattens.

04LED-Lit Cockpit

The cockpit is trimmed in LED lighting. On a route or a family entertainment center floor, the cabinet has to read as occupied and worth walking toward from across the room, and at 130 inches tall with a double marquee it is the tallest thing in most rooms it lands in.

05Linking For Up To Eight Cabinets

Up to eight games link together. A bank of two, four or eight then runs one race with real opponents rather than eight separate single-player sessions, which is the whole argument for buying racers in pairs. Plan the linking runs while the floor layout is still on paper.

06Six Tracks, Eight Super Cars

Six tracks and eight super cars, with shortcuts and secret missions built into the routes and a drifting model the game leans on hard. That is content a repeat player can still be working through on the tenth visit, which matters more on a location earning per play than a headline car count does.

Buyer's Guide

How To Judge This Cabinet Before You Order

Start with the ceiling. The installed height is 130 inches, which is 10 feet 10 inches, so neither a standard 8-foot residential ceiling nor a 10-foot commercial ceiling will take this cabinet: 130 inches needs 10 feet 10 inches of clear height before any allowance for service access. Measure to the lowest obstruction over the intended spot, not to the ceiling deck: sprinkler heads, ductwork, light fixtures and ceiling fans all sit below it. The double marquee ships on its own pallet and is fitted on site, so the marquee clearance is part of the install, not something you discover afterwards.

Then the floor. At 58 inches wide and 120 inches deep, the cabinet is roughly five feet across and ten feet front to back, and it carries 1,430 lb of installed weight in that area. Depth is the figure most people get wrong on motion cabinets, because the width suggests a narrow footprint while the actual reservation is a ten-foot lane with room for a player to get in and out at the front.

Delivery arrives as three separate shipping units, not one crate: a main cabinet pallet at 82 x 65 x 41 inches and 760 lb, a pedestal pallet at 65 x 41 x 82 inches and 670 lb, and the double marquee at 9 x 86 x 28 inches and 40 lb. Nothing in that list is a two-person carry. Check the receiving path against the crate dimensions rather than the assembled 58-inch width, because the main cabinet pallet presents a 65 by 41 inch cross-section and the marquee crate is 86 inches long, which rules out a 36-inch doorway and most residential hallway turns. A dock or a pallet jack and a level path matter more here than the door width alone.

On electrical, note that this cabinet has two inlets, not one. At 120V/60Hz each inlet draws 10A for 20A total, and at 230V/50Hz each draws 5A for 10A total. Two inlets at 10A each on a shared 20A circuit leaves no headroom for anything else on that breaker, so give the cabinet its own supply and confirm both inlets are reachable from where it will stand. If you are linking a bank of eight, that is a conversation with an electrician before it is a conversation about floor space.

FAQ

Questions Buyers Ask About This Cabinet

How much ceiling height and floor space does the motion cabinet need?

The installed height is 130 inches (331 cm), or 10 feet 10 inches, with an installed width of 58 inches (148 cm) and a depth of 120 inches (305 cm). Measure to the lowest fixture above the spot rather than to the ceiling itself, since sprinklers, ducting and light fittings hang below the deck. Installed weight is 1,430 lb (649 kg).

How does it ship, and will it fit through a standard doorway?

It ships as three units: a main cabinet pallet measuring 82 x 65 x 41 inches at 760 lb, a pedestal pallet measuring 65 x 41 x 82 inches at 670 lb, and the double marquee at 9 x 86 x 28 inches and 40 lb. The main cabinet pallet's smallest cross-section is 65 by 41 inches and the marquee crate is 86 inches long, so a 36-inch doorway will not clear either. Check the full receiving path against these crate figures, not against the 58-inch assembled width.

What are the power requirements?

The cabinet has two power inlets. At 120V/60Hz each inlet draws 10A, for 20A total. At 230V/50Hz each inlet draws 5A, for 10A total. Both inlets need to be reachable from the cabinet's final position.

Can two or more cabinets be linked for competitive play?

Yes. Up to eight games link together, so a linked bank races head to head across the game's six tracks instead of running as separate single-cabinet sessions. Multiply the electrical load and the 120-inch depth by the number of cabinets when laying out a bank.

What are QR Code Stats?

QR Code Stats is the game's method of handing a player their race results: the cabinet displays a QR code, and the player scans it with a phone to see the stats. Nothing has to be written down at the machine for a player to keep track of how they drove.

What warranty covers the game?

Game electronics, meaning the computer, monitor PCB and electronic PCBs, carry one (1) year of coverage. All other game components carry ninety (90) days. Both periods run from the date of purchase. Betson Imperial is a Raw Thrills factory-authorized service center and honors the warranty; parts and repairs are processed through Betson by advance replacement or an RMA.
