Players work a high-reliability tranquilizer gun against dinosaurs on an island run amok, and because the play position is enclosed, room light and floor noise stay off the screen the way they cannot on an open upright.

A lighted giant dinosaur topper and the Jurassic Park logo sit at the top of that measurement, and more than 1,000 dynamic color-changing LEDs run across the cabinet. The software holds nine missions and more than 30 species of dinosaur, with more than 45 minutes of gameplay on the machine, and Raw Thrills specifies the play as family-friendly. Power is 5 amps at 120V/60Hz or 2.5 amps at 230V/50Hz.

Cabinet format is the first thing to settle when you are comparing shooters. A standard upright puts the player on their feet in front of the machine and takes little depth. A tethered game hands over a gun on a cable and leaves the play area open. An environmental cabinet encloses the play position and pulls the seating inside the machine, which is why Raw Thrills publishes a set-up footprint of 53 inches wide by 80 inches deep here. Check the depth first: on most floors, finding 80 inches of depth is harder than finding 53 inches of width, and none of that 80 inches is seating you can relocate.

Set-up height is 103 inches, or 8 feet 7 inches, with the lighted dinosaur topper as the tallest point. A room built to a standard 8-foot ceiling gives you 96 inches and will not take the game assembled. Measure to the lowest obstruction over the intended spot rather than to the ceiling deck, since ductwork and sprinkler heads are usually what actually caps the height available, and leave clearance above the topper so the marquee lighting is not pressed against a surface.

This cabinet ships in two crates, and Raw Thrills publishes a weight for each one: crate one at 50 by 56 by 80 inches and 769 pounds, crate two at 35 by 56 by 85.5 inches and 448 pounds. Those two figures add to 1,217 pounds, the same number published as the assembled set-up weight, so the machine on the truck is the machine you end up with. Two separately weighed crates also change what receiving takes, because the heaviest single piece coming off the truck is 769 pounds rather than the full 1,217. Size your handling equipment and your crew to the 769-pound crate, and expect to stage two pieces rather than one.

Doors and hallways should be checked against those crate dimensions, not against the assembled cabinet. Raw Thrills states the game can fit through a 36-inch standard door, and crate two is 35 inches wide, which clears a 36-inch opening, though at 85.5 inches tall it stands higher than a standard 80-inch door and has to be tilted to pass. Crate one is 50 inches wide and does not clear 36 inches in any orientation. If 36 inches is the narrowest point on the route in, plan to uncrate at the dock or bring the crates through a wider entry and move the cabinet the rest of the way unpacked.
