Overview
Characters on this cabinet are not chosen from an on-screen grid. Players scan a Champion Card to load a fighter out of a roster of more than 100 Marvel heroes and villains, then field three of them in a three-on-three match. Every completed play dispenses a collectible Champion Card, and the Upgrade option awards more cards, including super rare foil printings. Series 3 is the card printing currently available. That single mechanic is what separates this title from a conventional fighting cabinet: the card is a consumable the operator keeps stocked, and it is also the reason a player comes back next week with the card they earned last time.
Raw Thrills built the cabinet around Kabam's mobile title, with arcade software by Raw Thrills and game software by Kabam Games, Inc., a Netmarble company, both under a 2024 Marvel licence. It stands 96 inches tall with the marquee fitted and 83 inches without it, on a 47 by 35 inch footprint, and weighs 468 lbs. Power is rated at 5A on 120V / 60Hz or 2.5A on 230V / 50Hz, so the same cabinet drops into a North American route or a 230V room. Betson lists it as item BETM 027214N and publishes both an operator manual and a Series 3 brochure.
Construction
The cabinet reads a physical Champion Card and loads the character printed on it, drawing from a cast of more than 100 Marvel heroes and villains. A player who owns cards arrives with a lineup already decided instead of scrolling a select screen on someone else's clock, which is the practical reason card ownership drives repeat play on this title.
Every play awards a Champion Card, and taking the Upgrade awards additional cards, including super rare foil versions. For an operator that makes card stock a recurring consumable tied directly to play count rather than a one-time accessory, and it gives the machine a collection loop no fighting cabinet without a dispenser can reproduce.
Matches are fought three characters per side, not one against one. Three scanned cards put three separate move sets into a single match, which is what turns a roster of more than 100 characters into something a regular player keeps working through instead of a number on a spec sheet.
Assembled height is 96 inches (244 cm) to the top of the marquee and 83 inches (211 cm) without it. Those two published figures put the whole marquee inside a 13-inch band, so 83 inches is the number that matters when the room has ductwork, a soffit, or a light fixture hanging below the joists.
Rated 5A at 120V / 60Hz and 2.5A at 230V / 50Hz. Five amps is a light load for a cabinet this size: two of them on one 120V 15-amp circuit draw 10 amps together, inside the 12-amp continuous ceiling that circuit allows, so a two-machine bank does not need its own home run.
Arcade software is copyright 2024 Raw Thrills, Inc., game software is copyright 2024 Kabam Games, Inc., a Netmarble company, and the Marvel licence carries a 2024 copyright. Betson catalogues the game as item BETM 027214N with an operator manual and a Series 3 brochure published, which is the paperwork a route operator needs when ordering parts or card stock by series.
Buyer's Guide
Start with the ceiling, because 96 inches is exactly 8 feet. A room finished to a nominal 8-foot ceiling gives this cabinet no clearance at all above the marquee, and any duct run, dropped beam, or hanging fixture takes the usable height below that. Measure to the lowest obstruction over the spot where the game will stand, not to the highest point of the ceiling. If the number comes back under 96 inches, the 83-inch figure is the one to work with, since the published dimensions place everything above 83 inches in the marquee.
Then measure the path in, using the crate dimensions rather than the assembled ones. Shipping is 87 inches high by 50 inches wide by 40 inches deep, so the crate is three inches wider than the 47-inch cabinet inside it and will not pass a 36-inch residential door or most 32-inch interior openings. Plan on uncrating at the receiving point and moving the cabinet itself through the doorway. Note also that the published shipping weight and the unit weight are the same 468 lbs (213 kg): the crate adds nothing to the figure, and 468 lbs is what has to be handled either way.
Electrically this is an easy cabinet to place. At 5A on 120V it pulls roughly 600 watts, which is why two machines share a single 15-amp circuit without approaching its continuous limit, and why adding one to an existing bank rarely means new wiring. The 230V / 50Hz rating at 2.5A matters if the location is outside North America or on a 230V house supply, and it is worth confirming which inlet configuration your unit ships with before the electrician quotes the drop.
Finally, price the cards, not just the cabinet. A game that selects characters by scanning a Champion Card and dispenses one after every play behaves like a redemption piece in one respect: the consumable is part of the operating cost, and running out of cards changes what the machine does for the player. Series 3 is the printing currently available, so confirm the series when you order stock, and expect the foil rares to be what keeps collectors feeding the machine rather than the base cards. That collection loop is the differentiator here, and it is also the part of the game that needs restocking.

FAQ
Will this cabinet fit under an 8-foot ceiling?
Not with clearance to spare. Assembled height with the marquee is 96.00 inches (244 cm), which is exactly 8 feet, and the published height without the marquee is 83.00 inches (211 cm). Measure to the lowest obstruction over the intended location, since ducting, soffits, and light fixtures usually cut into the last few inches of a nominal 8-foot ceiling.
Will the shipping crate go through a standard doorway?
No. Shipping dimensions are 87.00 inches high by 50.00 inches wide by 40.00 inches deep, and 50 inches is wider than a 36-inch residential door. The cabinet inside measures 47.00 inches wide, so the practical approach is to uncrate at the receiving point and move the cabinet through the opening. Both the crated and uncrated weight are published as 468 lbs (213 kg).
What power does the game require?
5A at 120V / 60Hz, or 2.5A at 230V / 50Hz. At 120V that is about 600 watts, so two cabinets together draw 10 amps and sit within the continuous load a 15-amp circuit will carry. The 230V rating covers locations wired outside North America.
How do players choose their characters?
By scanning a Champion Card at the cabinet. The scan loads that character from a roster of more than 100 Marvel heroes and villains, and each side fields three characters for the three-on-three match. Players can compete against another player or against the AI.
Do players keep the Champion Cards, and which series is current?
Players keep them. The cabinet dispenses a collectible Champion Card after every play, and the Upgrade option awards additional cards, including super rare foil cards. Series 3 cards are the printing currently available, so specify the series when ordering card stock.
What does the warranty cover?
One (1) year on game electronics (computer, monitor PCB, and electronic PCBs) and ninety (90) days on all other game components, both running from date of purchase. Betson Imperial is a Raw Thrills factory-authorized service center and honors the warranty; warranty parts and repairs are processed through Betson by advance replacement or an RMA.
